Highlights: Ahmed scores his first century of the season
Challengers won the toss and decided to bat first. They suffered a blow at the very start of the inning when Gambhir was dismissed on the second ball of the first over. The other opener Khurram soon followed getting bowled of the bowling of wasim in the second over. Ahmed and Syed then steadied the innings taking the charge to Hicksville bowlers and had a stand of 90 runs when Syed was dismissed for 44 when challengers were in a comfortable position of 95 for 3 in 13 overs. Another wicket fell and that brought Kunal to the crease with Ahmed. Both scored frequently and also helped by some poor fielding from Hicksville. Kunal was unlucky and was caught attempting to pull one for 49. Ahmed having missed a few times in previous matches getting dismissed in the 80's, Ahmed soon scored his first century and took off from there attacking almost every delivery bowled by Hicksville bowlers. Ahmed was retired hurt for an unbeaten 129 at that point the score had already passed 250. A late cameo by Azhar raised the Challenger's tally to 282 in 30 overs.

Requiring 283 to win Hicksville never really got off the mark. Ahmed struck in his second over removing the opener and Obaid bowled another batsman in the very next over. With 24 for 2 the Hicksville batting just collapsed with Syed and Gambhir took 4 wickets each and dismissing Hicksville for 82. Challengers won the match comprehensively.
