Girdhary Struck Third Ton
Galaxy
won the toss and took first strike. They piled up a challenging total
of 254 runs for the loss of 8 wickets from the allotted 35 overs.
Thanks mainly to Ryan Girdhary, who continues to impress with his
huge appetite for runs. The talented left hander struck his third
century of the season, this time he hit a wonderful 135 runs while
Manoj Balgobin chipped in with 29 runs.
The main
bowlers for National were Shabaaz with figures of 3 wickets for 30
runs from 7 overs and Anup with 2 wickets that cost 44 runs from his
7 overs.
Needing
255 runs to win from 35 overs, National finished with 163 runs for
the loss of 8 wickets when their overs expired.
Bowling
for Galaxy, Rana Naraine bagged 3 wickets for 27 runs from his 7 overs
and Sunil Racktoo who had figures of 2 wickets for 26 runs from 7
overs.
1.Horizon B vs King's Men at Whitestone
Horizon B won the toss and elected to bat and were bowled out for
129 from 29.4 overs, Calman Walcott and Lawerence Hanson taking four
wickets each. King'men in reply reached 133 for 6 with Wayne Ferguson
making 26 n.o, Lawerence Hanson 24 n.o and Ricky Butler making 23.
Final result King's Men winning by four wickets.
2.Millenium
vs Elite at Cunningham
Millenium won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 195 for
3 in 30 overs. Millenium's Thomas scored a Century (100 not out),
Peter 31 and Wilson with 29 runs. Elite's bowlers Tutu with 2 wkts
and Vikram with a wkt. In reply Elite scored 201 in the 26th over
and won the match. Elite's Shammi scored 64, Bendi 33, Sonu 21 not
out and Ricky 24 not out. Millenium's bowlers Binu with 2 wkts,
Akash 1 and Soji with a wkt.
This match had a total of 21 sixes and 16 fours.
3.Regal vs Challengers at Cunningham
Challengers won the toss and decided to bat first. They were bowled
out for 122 in 28 overs by some disciplined bowling from the Regal
bowlers. Burhan top scored with 33 and Ahmed contributed 25 in the
total. Regal started cautiously and comfortably scored the total
for the loss of 2 wickets. Syed and Burhan took a wicket a piece.
Regal won by 8 wickets.

P. Deopersaud and a brisk 20 from I. Hassan.
9.RSCC vs Striker CC at Whitestone
Striker won the toss and elected to bat first. Striker made 142
for the loss of 9 wickets. Andy made 40 runs. RSCC replied with
60 all out in 20 overs. For Striker, Irfan took 4 wickets for 7
runs, Ritesh took 3 for 9.
Striker won the match by 82 runs.

Stallions vs Renegades at Flushing
Renegades won the toss and batted first, piling a mammoth total
of 256 for 6 in 35 overs.
Gagin Ramgahan opening the batting was destructive with the bat
against Pak stallion bowlers, scoring 114 which includes 5 massive
sixes and 10 boundaries. Suraj Deopaul chipped in with quick 44
which included 1 six and 6 fours.
In reply Pak Stallion was demolished for 97. Solomon Poonai 3 for
15.
