Albions won the toss and sent WIA in to bat. They made 135 runs
playing with only 10 players and lost all nine wickets in 32.2 overs.
Batting for WIA Kawal Persaud top scored with 41 and second was
Curtis John Baptist with 13.
Bowling for Albions T. Aziz took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 5 overs.
W. Dass, V. Kalimotoo, T. Pooran, N. Baksh all took one wicket each.
Albions won the game making 137 losing only 3 wickets in 26.3 overs.
Batting for Albions: N. Manbodhe top score with 48, N. Baksh 44
and D. Sookdeen 20.
Bowling for WIA: L. Le Blanc took 3 wickets for 31 runs in 7 overs.
The only bowler who took any wickets.

Ramdeen Sports Club Beat Eagles To Register First Win
With the game reduced to 35 overs, Ramdeen Sports won the toss and
decided to bat first.
They went on to score 215 runs for 8 wickets in their allotted 35
overs, with captain Nandlal Rampersad scoring 100 not out, hitting
6 boundary in 1 over consisting of 6,4,6,4,6,6.
Other players to reach double figures were S. Choonoo 34, D. Deonarain
and T. Ramkissoon 16 each, S. Rampersad 21, M. Khemraj 10. Bowling
for NY Eagles N. Ramoutar 3 for 26. And Sookraj, Persad, Rahim,
Deodath, and Ramdass 1 each.
NY Eagles in reply were only able to make 164 all out, with S. Samuel
53, R. Ramdass 27, R. Gunness 37.
Bowling for Ramden Sports A. Jumadeen 3 for 33, S. Rampersad 2 for
9, K. Ragoonath 2 for18, N. Rampersad & M. Khemraj 1 wicket
each.

West Demerara Beat Brooklyn/ Queens To Register First Win Of The
Season

A fine display of batting and fielding by West Dem under 15 yrs
stalwart Amar Amarnauth helped his team won over Brooklyn/Queens
on Sunday. Brooklyn/Queens batted first and made 159 runs. Good
contributions came from R. Ramsingh 71 runs, R. Samuel 15, N. Rampersaud
24 and N. Samuel 10. Bowling for West Dem. J. Mohamed took 1 for
21, Patraj 2 for 16 and Akil, another 15 year old player 2 for 19
in 7 overs including 2 maidens. Amar took 2 wonderful catches in
the short gully region.
West Dem in reply made 163. Batting stars were Bert Khan with 54
not out (5x4 2x6), A. Amarnauth 29 (4x4, 1x6), R. Doodnath 28 (4x4).
Bowling for Brooklyn/Queens, Ramdo took 2 for 20, Sagar 2 for 32,
Rampersaud 2 for 28.
