Bayshore Tigers Atlantis won the toss and invited Bayshore Tigers to take first strike. The Tigers reached 137 for the loss of 8 wickets at the 20-Overs conclusion, with Abib top-scoring with 29, followed by Shazad with 24 n.o. and Sohail with 23. Bayshore Tigers’ wickets fell at 6, 9, 54, 61, 66, 79, 93, 124 129 and 137. Bowling for Atlantis, Terry Adams with figures of 4-0-28-3 was the pick of the bowlers. He was supported by vice captain Colin Sandy 4-0-18-2 and Haseeb Sheriff, Lincoln Deonarine and skipper Mendonca with one wicket apiece. In reply Atlantis reached 139 and the victory in 17.1 overs and the loss of openers Swanscot Benjamin, 59 (5x4’s and 1x6) b. Amir and Harry Thompson, 21 (1x6 and 1x4) b. Sohail. Bringing home the victory were Manoj Sirju, 48 (3x4’s and 2x6’s) Desmond Thompson not out on one. The victory gives Atlantis some traction at 2-0 with one game remaining in their group against Everest/ACS. East Bank Overpowers
Tigers Batting first Bayshore tigers reached 125 all out in 19.4 overs. All-rounder Sohail narrowly missed a half-century, hitting 49 and including 3x4’s and 1x6. the only other Bayshore batsman to reach double-figures was Abid with 20 including 1x6 and 1x4, as the other Tigers crumbled for scores ranging from 00-8. East Bank’s Zaheer Sadloo was masterful with figures of 2-0-9-3, followed by Alexandrino Kirton with 3 for 28 off 4 overs and T. Johnson 2 for 14. Deryck McDonald and Abdul Shakur each grabbed one wicket. In reply East Bank reached 126 in 14 overs behind Zaheer Sadloo’s unbeaten 55 (3x4’s and 1x6), T. Mckenzie’s 42 not out (1x4 and 2x6’s) and opener Debo Sankar’s 17, caught off the bowling of Qasim, handed the Tigers their second defeat of the day and by 9 wickets.
