Pakistan won the toss invited Tri State to take first strike, they
posted a total of 286 for the loss of 5 wickets off 40 overs. Gregory
Sewdial led the way with a brilliant 156 that included 12 sixes and
6 fours, and shared a 2nd wicket partnership of 201 runs with R. Bridgelall
who got 45.
Sewdial
is a current member of the East Bank C. C. that plays in the Eastern
American Cricket League. He was in destructive mood as he sent the
Pakistani bowlers to all parts of the Gateway ground before falling
in the final over.
Pakistan made a strong reply scoring 253 all out, just 33 runs short
of the total. Abdullah Saheed led the way for the Pakistani team scoring
a challenging 116.
Bowling for Tri State Keon Lake 3 wickets for 31 runs, Gregory Sewdial
2 wickets for 21 runs, Shaun Metha 2 wickets for 12 runs.
