Request For Sponsorship
Dear Cricket Lovers:
This letter of request is written on behalf of the 2009 New York region under 19 team. We are contacting you with hopes you could help us make a difference in the lives of our young cricketers in the New York region.
On Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-30, 2009, the New York Cricket Region under 19 team will be traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to compete in the inaugural Florida Cricket Association under 19 Cricket Tournament. Our regional youth cricket committee will be responsible not only for preparing the New York team but also for ensuring that all financial responsibilities which include transportation, hotel rooms and dinner are met.
Our junior program is recognized as the best in the USA and our youth team has won three of the last five national under 19 cricket tournaments. Our committee has moved to the forefront to make things happen in order to give our young cricketers every possible opportunity to compete. This tournament cannot succeed without your monetary assistance, regardless of how small you may think it is.
We are very conscious of the state of the current economy. In so saying, if every player within the New York region is able to donate $20, I think our efforts will be a success.
If you would be willing to help us in any way, please contact Clifford Hinds at (862)224-8662 or myself at (347)538-2696 at your earliest convenience. Either individual would be able to provide you with the donation procedure to the New York cricket region. The New York Cricket Region does have Non-profit status and our 5013(c) is available upon request.
Thank you for your time and for helping our regional youth cricket committee make a positive contribution to our young people and to the game of cricket.
