Tri State Youths Favored To Overcome Connecticut Youths

By Orin Davidson
Its one week to go before the long awaited Tri State Under-19 50 overs final , but such is the anticipation both finalists have already identified their squads for the grand showdown at Gateway Park next Saturday.

Hot favorites Tri State Youths will be captained by Alex Kirton while his counterpart is Brian Ajodhi, who no doubt has his eyes on an upset win for Connecticut Youths.

Having disposed of all their opponents for an unbeaten 100 percent record, Tri-State has much to amend for after losing last year’s final to Eastern American Youths.

Connecticut Youths though will be determined to prove that luck was not on their side following the withdrawal of the hot New Jersey Youths, by demonstrating they fully deserve to be in the finals.

Teams: Tri State Youths – Alex Kirton (captain), Akeem Dodson, Akeem Dewars, Francis Mendonca, Basdeo Ramnarine, Javien Thomas, Trevor Singh, Shaan Metha, Dwayne Hurley, Kester Grant, Lokesh Subramani, Ahmed Dodson and Seas Ahmed.

Connecticut – Brian Ajodhi (captain), Chad Monroe, Mitul Modi, Nirav Patel, Chandrika Singh, Jason White, Sagar Giovani, Andrew Ajodhi, Adil Rahman, Jamin Shah, Desmond Perry and Prakar Maisurabani.
